Is it possible to hook up an ipod into a car, so that the sound is illuminated throughout the car speakers?

Yes it is, and I have one of the devices. Simply go to Radio Shack and ask them that same question. They will hook you up with a little device that plugs into your cigarette lighter and sends off a radio signal to your deck...transferring the music from your ipod to your deck and then to your speakers.
