What is a good idea for my english project?

so my english teacher toldus friday we need to do a "survival guide for freshmen" she said that it needs to be personal so they can relate the thing is she doesn't want like a letter cuz according to her that is not personal she wants us to do more of a brochure but i need some ideas on how to do it i would really appreciate it Thanxs!!!
