A Question for Fans of Christian "Rock"?

Do you really feel like you "rock out" when you are listening to your Christian rock bands? I feel I should inform you, as a relatively advanced and academically solid, practicing Pagan witch, the authentic physical experience of "rocking out" is one of Dionysian rapture. It is a spiritually dangerous experience for people who have psychologically committed to an authoritarian religious world view. If you are truly "rocking out" that means you are becoming so subsumed by the experience of the music that your ego is dissolving into it. The Rock and Roll experience has always been about the self surrendering to ecstasy. The measurable physical effects of "rocking out" are profound--quite similar to what stimulant drugs would cause. When Christians labeled early rock and roll the devil's music, they were not far wrong. When performed properly, it most certainly does unleash some primal forces, and I can ure you, those primal forces do not belong to your own ually repressed sky god.
