What would be the best laptop for a college freshman in an engineering program?

I am attending college in the fall in an engineering program, I have been looking at laptops for a couple of weeks now and would like some others opinions about what to get. (Must be able to run Auto-CAD, min. 4GB RAM, have a dedicated video card and good processor)
