What should I do about my bf?

Me and my bf have been dating for 2 months and our relashionship is over the internet most of the time until we go back to skool in a few months. Lately whenever we talk on the internet he just says lol or nice to everything i say. I feel like he feels lke hes forced into talking to me. Today we didnt even talk at all! I would really appreciate some suggestions on what he is thinking and y hes acting so wierd. What should i say to him?
